Thirty seconds into the second song & I know it's 5-star. Cipollina is perhaps the most innovative and magnificent rock guitarist ever, and nowhere else but the first few Quicksilver Messenger Service albums will you hear him this clear and sweet.

Good sound for a broadcast source......excellent show, get the video if you can find it....the opener is Jorma Kaukonen and Vital Parts (or vise-versa)

Overall nice show for this incredible band....if you are unfamilier with this band and only have one show in your collection, this and 8-20-86 should be there......ok, you need two!

This makes a good tie in to Monkey Medicine and Nicks Bluestar recordings, since they were all recorded at around the same time.
